At the end of WW1, Rhinehart moved 18" oak and walnut beams into
position, tapped in the wooden pegs carved by his teen-aged son, Bert,
and built the barn on top of them.

Not one nail was used in the entire structure.

40 feet long, 26 feet wide and 33 feet high

Donated to Whiskey Run Creek by Julius Bergmann.

The move was approximately 18 miles and took about 6 hours.
»
Rhinehart's granddaughter, Wilma Handley, was there to watch the move.
